Douglas McDonough focuses his practice in bankruptcy and insolvency issues. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Staff Attorney for the Newark New Jersey Chapter 13 Standing Trustee and before that was engaged in a general practice representing creditors' and debtors' rights in all aspects of Chapters 7, 11, and 13 Bankruptcy. Prior to entering private practice, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Scancarella, Civil Presiding Judge of Passaic County, during the 1998-1999 court term.
Mr. McDonough is a Financial Literacy Program (FLiP) Presenter for the NJ Bankruptcy Lawyers Foundation. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Somerset County Young Republican Organization and is a former President of the Signal Point Condominium Association.
Mr. McDonough was a contributing author of the section of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Manual on "Trustee Administration of Chapter 13 Cases", published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education in 2006.
