Neil Day focuses his practice on general litigation. He has extensive experience with cases involving professional liability, products liability, business and commercial, construction, real estate and land use disputes. In addition, Mr. Day is well versed in the field of labor and employment law, including litigation and counseling in such areas as the review and negotiation of employment contracts and collective bargaining agreements. Mr. Day also serves as general counsel for several small businesses, providing counseling and litigation support in a variety of commercial settings such as contract formation, employment issues, regulatory counseling and general litigation support. Prior to joining the firm, he was engaged in a general litigation practice, representing clients in a wide array of disputes, including complex contract litigation, environmental litigation, toxic tort litigation and mass tort litigation. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief Judge David A. Faber, United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. Mr. Day currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University School of Law, teaching legal research and writing. He remains an active member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, serving in a variety of volunteer capacities as an alumnus and advisor. He is also active in his community, serving as a Director for the Lopatcong Athletic Association and a volunteer coach for multiple sports. In 2007, Mr. Day was selected by the New Jersey Law Journal as one of New Jersey's "Top 40 Under 40," a recognition given to 40 lawyers viewed as the top leaders in the state's legal community who have distinguished themselves before reaching the age of 40.
