Sterns & Weinroth Hosts the New Jersey Society of Women Environmental Professionals Event
Sterns & Weinroth will be hosting the New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Women Environmental Professionals (NJSWEP) “Flash Update” regarding hot topics in NJDEP’s Site Remediation Program on June 3rd from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Roxanne E. Jayne, a Director and member of the Real Estate/Transactional Practice, and Jennifer L. Cordes, an Associate and member of the Real Estate/Transactional Practice, will be the moderators of the program, providing an update on the legislative reform/stakeholder process and status of proposed Licensed Site Professionals Bill.
The Speakers include: Dr. Barry Frasco, NJDEP - Soil Remediation Standards; Colleen Kokas, NJDEP, Office of Brownfield Reuse – Brownfields Program; Sandra Gaurin, TetraTech EM, Inc. – NJDEP Vapor Intrusion Guidance.

Roxanne E. Jayne, a Director and member of the Real Estate/Transactional Practice, was a speaker at an October 23, 2007 program on "Emerging Issues in Regulation, Remediation and Redevelopment." She discussed the impact on builders and redevelopers of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Soil Remediation Standards Rule Proposal, anticipated to be adopted in May 2008. Sterns & Weinroth served as a co-sponsor of the event, presented by the New Jersey Society of Women Environmental Professionals.
